Bra for boys? Only in Japan

What has the world come to? What possible reason is there for a man to feel the need to wear a bra? I never thought I'd live to see the day (and I'm only in my mid twenties), but according to Yahoo!Canada:

A Japanese online lingerie retailer is selling bras for cross-dressing men and they've quickly become one of its most popular items. Since launching two weeks ago on Rakuten, a major Japanese web shopping mall, the Wishroom shop has sold over 300 men's bras for 2,800 yen ($30) each.

I'm really out of word but as long as Victoria's Secret stays in business, I think all the real men out there will be fine.

Russians cut back on vodka; drink cosmetics, perfume

Those wacky Russians really need their alcohol. As the the global recession continues, the Russians have been hit hard, with their stocks dropping 70% in value since hitting peaks in May. This has forced many to cut back on their vodka spending and have turned to cheaper - and deadlier - alternatives. Yahoo! UK reports:

Drinkers went for anything with alcohol content, including cosmetics, perfumes and cleaning agents to bring about the same effects as vodka, whose name in Russian is the diminutive of the word for water.

The times must be rough when perfume and cosmetics serve as a dual-purpose. I know Russians absolutely love their vodka but what next when the CKone isn't hard enough? A nice tall jug of anti-freeze? They sure have hit fool's gold.

Boy arrested for gas attacks

National security, stand guard. We have a terrorist on hand! The Smoking Gun reports:

A 12-year-old Florida student was arrested earlier this month after he "deliberately passed gas to disrupt the class," according to police. The child, who was also accused of shutting off the computers of classmates at Stuart's Spectrum Jr./Sr. High School, was busted November 4 for disruption of a school function. A Martin County Sheriff's Office report, a copy of which you'll find below, notes that the 4' 11" offender admitted that he "continually disrupted his classroom environment by breaking wind and shutting off several computers." The boy, whose name was redacted from the police report released today, was turned over to his mother following the arrest. The young perp turned 13 on November 15.

Forget about Al-Quada - this mastermind has been accused of shutting off his classmates computers. FBI update your terrorist watch list. This kid is up to something.

Motherf&ckin worms on a train!

OSAKA, Nov. 24 (AP) - (Kyodo)—A man was arrested Monday in the act of spreading hundreds of worms inside a train running across Osaka Prefecture, local police said.
Manabu Mizuta, a 35-year-old company employee who is suspected of deliberately obstructing railway operations by his act, was quoted as saying, "It was fun to watch other passengers freak out when they looked at the creepy worms wiggling their way (inside the train)."

At the time of his arrest, Mizuta had about 3,600 worms contained in small, photographic film cases in his bag, the police said.

The incident took place as the train was traveling on the Keihan line through the city of Neyagawa around 10:05 a.m.

The suspect, a resident of Hyogo Prefecture, is believed to have scattered about 200 mealworms, the larva of the darkling beetle, a feeder insect for birds. The railway car was cleaned immediately but the train was delayed by about three minutes, according to the police.

Since earlier this month larvae have frequently been found inside Keihan trains, so railroad police officers have been put on alert.

I don't know which part of this is more interesting: the fact that this is a grown man acting like a child or how it took 3 minutes to clean up a couple hundred scattered worms. If Translink was in a similar situation, people would be stranded for hours waiting.
